There is a lot to think about when planning a wedding, so it’s only natural to have questions. Here are some of the most frequently asked questions answered to help you with your planning process.

How do I book with Cotswold Wedding Hair & Makeup?

After looking at my work and once you are happy to go ahead, a £50 non refundable deposit is required to secure your date. Once this is paid you will receive a booking confirmation.

How do I pay the deposit/final payment?

The easiest way to pay your deposit/final payment is by BACS. You will be supplied with the necessary bank details in order to make this payment.

When is my final payment due, and can I pay it earlier?

Final payments are to be paid no later than 1 week before the date of your wedding, however you will receive your final invoice earlier than this so if you wish to make your payment earlier, you are welcome to. You can also request your final invoice as soon as you would like it in order to make payment.

How do I book a trial?

We will discuss a suitable date and time and confirm this. A trial is always recommended around 2 months before your wedding date.

Where does the trial take place?

Your trial can either take place at your home or a relatives/friends home, although travel is only included if within an hour of Cheltenham. Or if you would prefer, you are welcome to come to my home.

Can I have a trial on a weekend?

Trials are usually held Monday to Thursday. Fridays and Saturdays are very limited due to wedding bookings and there may only be an afternoon slot available.

How do I pay for my trial?

Your trial can either be paid on the day of your trial by cash or BACS. However, with your deposit paid, your trial can be added to your final payment.

My bridesmaid or mum has very short hair, will it be the same price for her?

No, I am happy to discuss and reduce prices where necessary.

Do you supply hair accessories?

No. Ornamental jewellery or flowers are to be supplied by the bride, usually the bride is happy to find something that she likes and will match her dress or theme. I am happy to give advice based on hairstyle.

Myself or bridesmaid has very sensitive skin, can she use her own makeup for you to apply?

Yes, of course. Prices will be reduced accordingly to allow for this.

Can I purchase a lipstick from you or can I wear my own?

Yes, if you would like me to purchase the lipstick used, this will be added to your final invoice. You are more than welcome to use your own lipstick.
